Thursday, March 11

Well, it finally smells like spring out and the snow is beginning to melt.

It's always an adventure to see what is uncovered by the snow - you know - trash, single gloves, more dog poop than one person could have imagined.  I even had one friend find a set of long lost keys last spring in the thaw.  I know I should be, but I'm not a fan of the spring in the early stages.  Pollen gives me headaches, its windy and there is mud everywhere and everything is dirty.  I'm much more of a fan of late spring/early summer.  When it's light until 8:30, the lilac fill the air and all the grass and trees are green.

I'm turning 35 this weekend and I'm trying to figure out what season of my life I am in.  I know it's not early spring but am in summer, where everything is established and thriving or by some chance, is this still late spring where there is still time to plant and grow new things and you have the whole growing season ahead of you?

  1. I love the warm air....am so ready for it....and I have seen more dog poop on my front lawn than I realized my one little beagle could make.
