Have you ever had a rummage sale?? I had one with some friends a few weeks ago. It was nice because I came home with nearly 90 dollars but some people have no manners. At my last rummage sale, my friend had a shirt for 25 cents. A woman asked if she would take 10 cents. My friend said no, the lady bought the shirt anyways and paid with a 5 dollar bill. Now I understand that haggling is part of the sport of rummaging, but that was just insulting. It's fun to watch and see which thing I never want to see again will become someone's treasure.
Here's another thing I don't understand, paying full price. I've always fan of the deal/coupon/discount etc but since I've lost my job, I've really needed to cut back and save some money. I am amazed how much I can save each week with like 15 minutes of effort. So far this week I got 3 free boxes of pasta, free shampoo and free hair gel. It's only Monday, who knows what the rest of the week holds.. LOL

So as some of you may have heard by now, we found out early this spring that my mom has breast cancer.
She is back to work and doing well and we should know in the next week or so what follow up treatment will be required from the surgery.
At this point, they have removed all the cancer.
As all of you know, for years I’ve been doing the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society because of my dad’s cancer. So I really can’t not do something for my mom
This year’s Susan G Komen walk is Saturday, June 5th and I know that everyone is super busy.
So I’ve formed a team and I am asking that join our team, and when you register, the check Sleep in for the Cure. When you pick this option, you get to be part of our team, and they mail you the shirt after the walk without having to get up early etc..
The registration fee is $30, you can do it all online. That way, we all get to sleep in together that day but do some good at the same time.
The link for registration is:

The team name is Team Foster – of course!

Wednesday, May 5
So this girl who lives across the hall from me has a cat. She thinks it's ok to let the cat outside. Maybe it is, but then what happens is the little bastard comes over and torments my precious angels through the patio door. Now, poor Lucy gets all confused and hisses at Larry once stupid neighbor cat (SNC) has been over. I've taken to spraying SNC with a squirt bottle, so now it no longer likes me, which is just fine. I'm really trying to avoid a talk with the neighbor girl about this because I really do not enjoy confrontation but I may have to suck it up and tell her to put her cat on a leash.
